Audax is an independent Spanish integrated utility with 5% market share in the SME market in its home market. Geographically diversified (41% revenues outside Spain) and with varied sources of supply (20% energy from PPAs in 2023), Audax is more defensive than small players. In the coming years, as it draws on cheaper supply and cranks up its own generation, Audax should grow its margin while continuing to grab market share from the big players.

Savannah today announces that it is amicably terminating its JV arrangement with Rio Tinto over the Mutamba Minerals Sands project in Mozambique. Savannah has been paid $9.5m (which translates into 0.4p/sh) in cash to relinquish the 20% it has earned in the project and will cease all activity in country. All staff will transfer to Rio Tinto.
